Rip'Em Fishing Guide Service is pleased to be able to offer a variety of instructional angling experiences to our clients. Whether a traditional walk and wade, to bank fishing on a private mountain pond or a boat journey on the Susquehanna River, Rip'Em Fishing Guide Service is happy to accommodate your needs.

We will spend either a full or half day exploring a private free flowing mountain stream in South Central Pennsylvania which provides excellent dry fly and nymph fishing or boating on the Susquehanna River in search of the world class small mouth bass.

Our instructional fishing packages are specialized and dedicated to teaching the sport we have enjoyed for years. We provide a unique opportunity to share our knowledge and help anglers gain the confidence to use the skills they learn anywhere they go fishing. Fly #1 One on One Trout Fly Fishing Instructional
Want to fly fish but don't know where to start? This package is perfect for the beginning angler. A private freeflowing mountain stream provides the perfect opportunity to learn the art of fly fishing. Take a day and enjoy some one on one instructional training including different casting techniques and fly presentations. Increase awareness of how stream make-up, water rise/water fall, sunlight/cloud cover and temperture positions fish. Also, learn the importance of approach and presentation. A great gift idea for yourself or someone who has always wanted to learn how to fly fish. Best of all, take your flyrod with you when you leave. (available on our full day package only)

A full day one on one instructional fly fishing lesson

8 hours: 1/2 day on the private stream for brook trout, rainbow and browns

Our short day package includes access to the same beautiful freeflowing private mountain stream and/or private pond and includes a brief fundamental lesson on casting techniques, presentation and fish handling, then it gets you out there fishing. Guide decides on location (Stream or pond)

Bass Fishing on the River
Bass #1 One on One River Instructional Full Day
Small mouth bass fishing instruction at its finest. The Susquehanna River is known for its world class small mouth bass. A full day on a 17ft Bass Tracker learning about spinning tackle, bait casting tackle, lure presentation including hard and soft plastics and other fish catching techniques. Learn how to read the river and how fish position to those conditions. The Susquehanna River's weed beds, rock formations and small islands provide the perfect locations for learning the art of Small Mouth bass fishing.
Full Day: 8 hours $500 Per person (Includes lunch and drinks)

Bass #2 One on One River Instructional Half Day
Only have a few hours to spend? Take a half a day and learn the basic fundamentals of catching the Susquehanna's world class Small mouth bass. 4 hours of fishing including basic techniques of casting, simple knots and lure presentation.
Half Day: 4 hours $350 Per person
